Weddings at the Old Rectory Killyman

Aoife and Ronan were one of the lucky couples to be the first to host their wedding in the brand new bespoke Glass Walled Grand Pavilion at the Old Rectory Killyman. The new structure has been added to the estate in early 2024 and really provides the wow factor for your special day as well as being the perfect backdrop to personalise the space as you wish. Here is a flavour of their Old Rectory Killyman Wedding Photos. My style is intentional candid wedding photography with a sentimental touch and I hope this shines through in their images.

Aoife started her day at her home in Cookstown and had such a fun and enjoyable morning, dancing round the island, having fun with her bridesmaids and creating enough space in her morning timeline to get ready without feeling rushed.

This fun-loving couple wanted their big day to be filled with laughter, loved ones, and many joyful moments captured forever through timeless photography.

Aoife’s Hair stylist Alisha Scullion of Luxe Salon and makeup artist Erin Devlin were on hand during the morning for all the emergency touch ups, thanks to Ronan’s heartfelt words written for Aoife to read on their wedding morning.

What if it rains on my Wedding Day?

Well, it is Ireland. The likelihood of rain on your wedding day, even in the height of summer can be high. Although our weather systems are so changeable, it’s also likely any rain that arrives will pass quickly. When you are planning you wedding, it’s such a great idea to choose a venue with great indoor spaces for photos. The Old Rectory has so many fabulous areas that Aoife & Ronan didn’t need to worry about the weather on their day.

The Old Rectory boasts a Restored 17th century Barn, a Tepee area with cocktail bar, a Summer House, the Glass Ceremony Room, the Rectory House itself as well as the new Glass walled Grand Pavilion for indoor photo locations. With rain on the forecast, we utilised most of these spaces during the day.

With the weather breaking and the rain moving on, Aoife and Ronan were delighted to venture outdoors after dinner for a breath of air, a few minutes of quiet and some fun creating a few chilled evening portraits, with simple and quick light set ups.
