Pre Wedding Photos

I love catching up with my couples before their wedding day. It’s great to build a relationship and have a practice run so that you can get a feel for how I work and what to expect on the big day. Don’t forget, it will be me that you spend the majority of your day with, so it’s good to get the banter going early. If you had a pound for every person that will tell you that your Wedding Day will fly by in the blink of an eye, you’d have the day paid for- but it’s true. Your Wedding Day will be a fast paced affair and it will be dinner call before have time to take your breath. So getting together for a leisurely stroll around your favourite place at sunset is the perfect way to document this special and relatively short period of your life.

The day Gary proposed we then went to West Strand Beach which had no-one on it only us, whilst walking along the beach Gary got down on one knee and proposed. I chose a gold ring as I am going to wear my Granny’s wedding band which fits me perfectly. We wanted a couple session to help prepare us for our wedding photos and also we wanted photos to put on our engagement thank you cards

Louise said ‘for me photos are so important, my engagement shoot meant so much to me. I was worried that they wouldn’t turn out how I had imagined them in my head. This in turn made me really nervous on the day of the shoot. Gemma was brilliant and kept in touch with us before the shoot and also provided us with some useful advice for the couples session in her e-mails. We felt really good after our session, Gemma showed us some photos on her camera and we were very happy with them. We spent the journey home laughing and talking about our session which can only be positive. I also spent the whole of the next day eagerly awaiting a sneak peek of some of the photos which did not disappoint. Gemma was fab, she made us feel so comfortable on the day. We did ice-breaker games to help us feel more at ease and got us laughing, Gemma took pictures we didn’t even know were being taken and these turned out awesome. I have imagined what these photos would look like and to be honest they turned out even better, cannot wait for our wedding photos now. Thank you Gemma.

Would recommend having a couples session? Yes. Do it!!!!! This was the best thing we could have done to help prepare us for our wedding photos. I also wanted to make sure i liked my hair and make-up in the photos as this is also important to me on the day so this was great to see how they turned out on our session.
